| UPPER PENINSULA PUDDING STONE SLABS |
Pudding Stone is a conglomerate that consists of smaller pebbles surrounded by a finer-grained, sandy matrix or cement. It's found all over Michigan from the Upper Peninsula to Drummond Island to The Lower Peninsula! These slabs are not the well-known conglomerate found in the lower peninsula, this is a unique find that we discovered rooting around in tailing piles up here! The slabs are coated with a polyurethane coating to bring out the pattern and give it a "wet" look! |
