"Yoopa-lights" are a recent discovery that have gained national attention! It is a syenite, which is a coarse granite with fluorescent sodolite in it which glows orange under UV light! This granite is high in alkali feldspar and does not contain quartz. The light used to show the fluorescent is a Convoy, high quality UV flashlight with a filter on it that filters out most of the unwanted uv spectrum giving you a strong, clean light that brings out the beauty of these stones!
