Chalcedony is a form of silica composed of both quartz and moganite. Chalcedony occurs in many different forms and in fact, a lot of semi-precious gems are forms of Chalcedony like: Agate, Carnelian and Onyx. Metaphysically, it's a nuturing stone that promotes good will between people and helps to open lines of communication.
